Fun and pretty

I like the overall design of the glasses and the connected functions are fun, although hard to use as an actual controller 😁.

My only gripe is that they're a bit too flimsy. The plastic feels cheap and is ready to break. I also wish they'd have bone conduction for the sound so it wouldn't be so loud to other people around me.

Overall a fun gadget anyway.

My thoughts on the GB Shades

Ill be honest I got these for looks more than anything else as a result the headphone operation was an added bonus. However there are some pros and cons to address for others looking to get a pair.
Pros
-Super comfy I have even had others try them on and the feel of the glasses actually isnt that bad in the slightest. I could see long hours of wear in the future.
-Surprisingly Lightweight as in even my current glasses might weigh almost the same and they are wire frames in comparison. The design seems to support any extra weight quite nicely.
- Controls are very easy to interact with in fact the switch they use to power on or off is a very nice touch. I honestly wish more designs like this incorporated it as it makes turning them on and connecting much faster than having to wait several seconds of holding a button only to wonder if you actually were pressing it hard enough.
- Overall durability seems to be off the charts. Honestly (although due to price i never will) I would throw them at a brick wall. Even though they are as lightweight as they are they also don't feel like they are made of bad material choices.
- Calling functions and all other functions for google assistant or other mic related things work smoothly and beautifully. I can hear people clearly when using them as a headset and i have had no complaints on my audio clarity to the people i talk with. The connection seems to have a decent range for their size but i would recommend any devices be nearby roughly within the same room as you at least.
Cons
- Although the speakers are nice they have no bass to them whatsoever. IF you plan on playing anything bass heavy I would advise against getting these as bass seems to add a rather old timey feel to whatever you are listening too. Looking at them it seems that this is partly due to the design and compact area they are working with so i can understand why this is a problem. A suggestion to mutrics would be to find a way to remove bass from the sounds playing if possible in future iterations.
- They are huge and the only reason this is a con is because mutrics does not provide custom precription lenses for them. You will find issues finding people who wish to actually make lenses for them and this is usually due to the size more than anything else. However also dont let lens makers fool you into thinking they dont have the capability sometimes as most of the big name companies that can do it for you say no simply because its not lenses made by them and they dont want to lose that as a sale.

Overall very well designed with the best possible speakers for their overall compact electronics. Their durability along with their style alone make them worth the purchase.
